1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Reshuffl. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Reshuffl mobile application (the "App") and the website located at https://reshuffl.co (the "Site"), collectively referred to as the "Service," operated by Reshuffl ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

We reserve the right to request proof of age and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

3. How the Service Works

Reshuffl is a map-based social discovery experience. You explore people shown on a map near your location (or a location you set, depending on your plan). Key concepts:

  • Map discovery — profiles appear on the map at approximate positions. You can browse profiles and view details.
  • Unlock range — you can only send a connection request to people within your plan's interaction range from your active location.
  • Connection request — when you tap "Can we speak!" on a profile, you are expressing interest in connecting. This is not a guarantee of a response.
  • Mutual connection — when both users have sent a connection request, a chat is opened so you can message each other.

We do not guarantee that you will receive connection requests, responses, or conversations. The Service facilitates discovery and communication; outcomes depend on other users and your interactions.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Maintain only one account per person

We may suspend or terminate your account if information provided is false, misleading, or violates these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent activity
  • Harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or abuse others
  • Post content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or discriminatory
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or age
  • Solicit money, gifts, or financial benefits from other users
  • Use the Service for unauthorised commercial purposes, advertising, or spam
  • Use bots, automation, scraping, or reverse-engineering tools
  • Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, servers, or systems
  • Circumvent location or interaction restrictions (e.g. spoofing GPS to interact outside your range)
  • Upload malware or harmful code

We reserve the right to investigate violations and take appropriate action, including content removal, account suspension, termination, or reporting to authorities.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (including photos, profile text, and messages).

By posting content, you grant Reshuffl a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have the rights to all content you submit and that it does not infringe on third-party rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms at our discretion.

7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

7.1 Free and Paid Plans

Reshuffl offers a free tier with map discovery near your current location. Additional features are available via paid auto-renewable subscriptions (Pro and Elite), billed monthly or yearly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Plan features may include map exploration, custom location pins, ghost mode, advanced filters, and enhanced privacy controls. Feature availability is described in-app and may change over time.

7.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Charges are applied within 24 hours prior to renewal at the price displayed at purchase.

7.3 Managing Subscriptions

Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through your device settings:

  • Apple: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle.

7.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refunds are subject to their respective policies. Reshuffl does not issue refunds directly.

7.5 Price Changes

Pricing may change from time to time. Any changes apply to the next billing period, with advance notice where required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All Service content (excluding user content), including branding, design, code, text, and graphics, is owned by Reshuffl and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part without written permission.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Reshuffl does not conduct criminal background checks. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others. Always exercise caution when meeting people offline.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reshuffl shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, in the preceding 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reshuffl and its affiliates from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App. We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms.

Provisions that by nature should survive termination shall survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in Indian courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by email where required.
